Over 30 Years of Clinical Experience treating Complex & Chronic Conditions

Experienced Care You Can Trust

Dr. Zhang

Dr. Zhang has been doing this for over 30 years. Not as a side practice or a wellness add-on but as her main clinical work, five days a week, with patients dealing with real and often stubborn health problems. That kind of experience changes how you think about diagnosis and treatment. You stop following scripts and start actually listening.
She got trained in China before coming to the UK, where she ran a busy practice in London for three decades. She’s now based in Exeter. Her particular focus is abdominal acupuncture, a technique most people haven’t heard of until they need it, and which tends to work well precisely where other things haven’t.

What We Do

People come here with all kinds of things going on. Chronic pain that’s been there for years. Hormonal problems that are affecting daily life. Digestive issues that nobody’s been able to explain properly. Skin conditions that flare, calm, and flare again. Sometimes they’ve been through the NHS route and want something different. Sometimes they haven’t tried anything yet and just want to start somewhere sensible.
We offer six main treatment areas, all delivered by Dr. Zhang personally.
There’s no junior staff, no one-size approach. Just careful assessment and treatment that’s built around you.

Abdominal Acupuncture

Gentle needling through the abdomen to treat internal organ function, digestion, hormones and chronic conditions. Often effective where other approaches haven’t been.

Pain Management

For joint pain, back problems, nerve pain, migraines, sports injuries and anything else that’s been grinding you down. Acupuncture works on the actual source of pain rather than sitting over the top of it.

Fertility & Women's Health

Support across reproductive health irregular cycles, PCOS, fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause. Treatment is timed carefully and tailored closely.

Facial Acupuncture

Natural rejuvenation without fillers or surgery. Improves skin tone, reduces lines, and addresses the internal factors sleep, stress, hormones that show up on your face.

Internal Medicine

Digestive disorders, respiratory conditions, immune problems, chronic fatigue, metabolic health. TCM has been treating these for centuries. The approach still works.

Neurological Rehabilitation

Post-stroke support, Bell’s palsy, peripheral neuropathy, tremors. Slow, careful work but patients do see real functional improvements over time.

Conditions We See

Below is a broad list of what comes through the door. It’s not exhaustive if something you’re dealing with isn’t on it; it’s still worth getting in touch. The assessment process will tell us whether acupuncture is likely to help, and Dr. Zhang won’t take on a case if she doesn’t think she can add value.
